सर्वांना नमस्कार, 'वेध भविष्याचा ह्या कार्यक्रमात मी विजय केळकर आपल्या सर्वांचे स्वागत करतो' असे म्हणून, 'झी मराठी' ह्या वाहिनीद्वारा, घरोघरात प्रसिध्द असणारे ज्योतिषी श्री. विजय श्रीधर केळकर ह्यांनी दि. २० फेब्रुवारी २०१८ रोजी अल्पशः आजारामुळे शेवटचा निरोप घेतला. ते ६७ वर्षाचे होते.

'झी' वाहिनीच्या 'वेध भविष्याचा' ह्या कार्यक्रमाद्वारे त्यांची ओळख सर्वांना झालीच, पण अनेक वर्षांपासून 'लोकप्रभा', 'दाते पंचांग', 'Outlook' मॅगझीन ह्या सारख्या नामांकित प्रकाशांतून ते साप्ताहिक भविष्य लिहीत असत. तसेच १९९९ साला पासून १२ ही राशींचे वार्षिक भविष्य ते त्यांचा 'Pocket Book' द्वारे लोकंपर्यंत पोहोचवत होते. "जोडी तुझी माझी" व "दिशा करियरच्या", हे त्यांचे ज्योतिष विषयक एक पत्री प्रयोग अनेक शहरात त्यांनी सादर केले. 

"तुमच्यासाठी ज्योतिष" ह्या स्वयंलिखित पुस्तकाच्या माध्यमातून त्यांनी "ज्योतिष" हे शास्त्र असून सामान्य माणसापर्यंत ते कसे पोचेल व रुचेल, हे मांडायचा त्यांनी प्रयत्न केला, व हाच प्रयत्न त्यांनी त्यांचा दररोजचा सल्ल्यातून देखील पुढे चालू ठेवला.

प्रसिद्ध ज्योतिषी श्री. श्रीधर केळकर हे त्यांचे वडील व गुरु होते.

वास्तवस्तिथी पाहता, ह्या पुढे आम्ही २०१८ सालचा साप्ताहीक भविष्य नेहमी प्रमाणे तुमचा पर्यंत पोहचवत राहू. पण २०१८ साला नंतर मात्र आम्ही श्री. विजय केळकरांचे काही निवडक लेख तुमचा पर्यंत पोचवू.

आत्ता पर्यंत तुम्ही सर्वांनी श्री. विजय केळकरांना दिलेल्या उदंड प्रेम, प्रतीसाद व आधाराबद्दल मी अमेय केळकर (मुलगा) व स्वप्ना (केळकर) सिधये (मुलगी) आपल्या सर्वांचे मनःपूर्वक आभार मानतो.

Vijay Kelkar Obituary

Hello everyone,

It is with a very heavy heart that we would like to inform that renowned and beloved astrologer Mr. Vijay Kelkar passed away due to chronic illness on 20 February 2018. He was 67 years old.

Astrology was his true passion since the outset of his life. Starting his astrological studies at a very early age of 17, Mr. Kelkar through his brilliant astrological knowledge, conveyed that "Astrology" is science and not just a myth. Through his weekly predictions he tried to present astrology in a practical, scientific, yet easy to understand manner, which attracted thousands of people's attention towards the topic.

Mr. Vijay Kelkar was son of renowned astrologer Mr. Shridhar Keshav Kelkar, whom he also considered his "Guru".

As you all would know, he used to write weekly predictions in highly reputed magazines such as Lokprabha, Outlook Express, and Date Panchang. His pocket books covering yearly predictions have been published since 1999 and are extremely popular amongst his huge clientele. The last series of these books, that is, annual predictions for 2018 are available at local bookstalls. Unfortunately, this will be last series of these books!

Due to his demise, we will continue updating the website every week until the end of 2018. After 2018 however, providing weekly predictions will not be possible. We will think about how we can continue passing on Mr. Kelkar's astrological messages to you all. Also, due to his absence, it will not be possible to continue the consultations.
